Lamberti Design worked on the furniture restauration of the notorious bistro and patisserie shop F.lli Pansa located in Piazza Duomo in front of the Amalfi’s cathedral since 1830. The furnishing work ranges from the kitchen to the entrance door. This example of work shows how Lamberti is able to offer its customers in the serving/food industry design solutions purely functional and/or decorative by using different types of metals, like stainless steel, brass with finishes ranging from polished, satin, etched to burnished. In the kitchen, to comply with the sanitary regulations, shelves and workbenches were manufactured using stainless steel, all perfectly finished with adjustable feet. To give visibility and transparency to the kitchen area a box window with a minimal structure of stainless steel and glass was inserted in the wall. The bar counter area has glass shelves that were glued using ultra violet light technology. The storefront has two boxes on the ground made of brass. The signage in burnished brass was cut with waterjet technology. The entire project, just like all the other examples of restaurants, bars, cafés, and coffee shops, was made in its entirety in Italy at the Lamberti Design factory in Cava De’Tirreni and then carefully packed and transported to the job site in Amalfi. The Lamberti Design staff then assembled everything in one day.
