Innovation and style in metal finishes

Lamberti Design’s manufacturing operations were featured in an interview published in the magazine Lamiera, a leading publication in the world of metalworking. Lamberti Design ‘s CEO Vincenzo Lamberti spoke about the company’s key stages of growth and the approach that distinguishes Lamberti Design: combining artisanal quality with cutting-edge research in metal finishing.

The chemical laboratory: where the innovation starts

It all began with a passion for materials and a desire to experiment:

“From simple curiosity and a desire to experiment […] a full-fledged in-house Chemical Laboratory dedicated to metal finishes was born.”

This laboratory is now the hub of research and development, where unique finishes are made, tailored to each project through acid treatments, mechanical processes, waxing, and special varnishing.

“In our laboratory, innovation meets creativity, giving life to unique finishes that tell a story of passion, experimentation, and dedication.”

An integrated and sustainable production process

The interview also highlighted another distinctive feature of our method: the integration of research, production, and quality control. A complex system, designed to ensure uniformity, durability, and aesthetic performance of materials over time.

“Each object is initially subjected to deep cleaning and degreasing […]. The processes are then combined to achieve specific aesthetic effects, with unique geometries and color patterns.”

All with a constant focus on sustainability:

“The final step involves the application of a protective coating that combines quality and sustainability.”

Customized metal finishes for every sector

As Vincenzo Lamberti explained, our production addresses a variety of sectors – from residential to commercial and industrial – offering new, versatile, and long-lasting aesthetic solutions:

“Our coatings are designed to meet the most diverse needs […]. All our products undergo quality controls to verify their adhesion, scratch resistance, durability, and compatibility with commonly used chemicals.”

Sixty metal finishes (and more): the evolution continues

During the interview, a significant fact also emerged: today, Lamberti Design boasts over sixty original finishes, the result of ongoing research.

“Thanks to our customers’ requests and our innate curiosity, we have succeeded in developing finishes that are increasingly “natural,” replicating the aged look of metals and giving our products a unique and distinctive character.”

This approach aims to enhance every metal, even those considered less noble, highlighting their aesthetic and functional potential.

“We are certain that only through continuous investment in research and development  it is possible to maintain high quality standards and affirm the excellence of Made in Italy on an international level.”
