La Barbera Jewelry

Location

  • Naples

The historical Neapolitan jewelry store “La Barbera”, on Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi in Naples, changed its look and reopened in 2016. Lamberti contributed to the renovation with different metal furnishing elements The Neapolitan Architect, Marco Falconio, was the designer of this new concept. The frames, sheets and other steel elements have been painted with an oven-cured epoxy powder with a custom color: oxidized bronze, chosen and created specifically for the customer on his specific instructions. On the outside Lamberti Design produced and installed: the portal on which is attached the signage; the planters raised off the ground; the display cabinet for the flat screen; the sign in powder coated steel in which the letters were cut out with the waterjet technology, and then filled in with backlit transparent glossy plexiglass. When entering the shop one goes through the entrance portal in the atrium where the jewels are safely displayed in the window boxes. The display windows are protected with extra-clear armored glass. Inside the store there are more display windows whose doors are entirely in extra-clear tempered glass without steel frame. Above the counter display area, Lamberti has produced and installed powered coated metal ceiling Lamps (spot lights made with a square-section tubular). Inside the store on the marble wall there is “LA BARBERA” signage and logo in stainless steel with a super mirror finish cut with the Waterjet technology. The entire project, just like all the other examples of clothing stores, franchises and jewelry stores, was made in its entirety in Italy at the Lamberti Design workshop in Cava De’Tirreni, and then carefully packed and transported to job site in Milan. The Lamberti Design staff then assembled everything in a little more than a week.
