A researcher, architect and urbanist, Robert Evans has been designing buildings throughout the world from his Manhattan studio for over forty years.

His designs are inspired by the natural environment, in conjunction with an urban context. These elements work together to capture strong visual identity of a particular location.

Evans has received international awards for his buildings, and was especially praised for both his innovative use of materials and for the classical study of human proportions as applied to architecture and design.

Italy’s appeal, as well as being intrigued by the joint use of stainless steel and Corten, Evans produces a line of vases for Lamberti which are inspired by the contrasts of both the shapes and the materials.
